Ilana Kohn
Since spraining my ankle (sob) I've spent a lot of time on pinterest ... oh dear... however I have found some amazing summer dresses

I've been trying to make my own dress patterns in the last few weeks and these dresses have really inspired me to make a similar pattern with a fitted vest and loose midi length skirt.
My pinterest board with more beauties like these can be found here

Stockport Vintage Village 13.04.14

I love my monthly trip to Stockport vintage village there are always lovely people, treasures to be found and delicious food to be eaten! This Sunday it was warm enough to get my bike out and ride to the fair :)
Stuart Thornley was there with his fantastical cakes! I wasn't brave enough to try the dippy egg cake but did have a hot cross bun cupcake and got some Rocky road with mini eggs to take home for Tom

This stall had so many gorgeous vintage picnic sets gleaming away in the sun
Love the pretty flasks and tins
Think I like the blue one best
I liked this little Swedish plate
Also spotted a box of old film reels from the Picturehouse in my home town of Bury St Edmunds!

Whole lotta love

I've been eyeing up clogs online since last year when I noticed lots of bloggers were wearing gorgeous Swedish Hasbeens clogs. After a couple of months trying to find a pair my size I finally found Lotta from Stockholm. Very reasonably priced and beautiful too. I took the plunge and got a navy blue pair with a low heel. I feel so glam in my lovely Lottas! Just need to resist buying them in every colour.....

Llangollen weekend

Llangollen is a lovely town in north Wales with lots of vintage, antique and craft shops, real ale pubs, cafes, access to beautiful countryside with a river and canal, hills, rock climbing, castle ruins - basically the ideal place to spend a sunny weekend whatever you are into!
Check out the long shop name - the shop next door sells the most delicious ice creams and waffles!
Pretty little Caravan outside the market

 Entrance to the market
 Lovely old train station
 Pretty canal boats

Windy walk up to the castle ruins
 Castell Dinas Bran
Bridge over the river Dee
We enjoyed some real ales and REALLY good food at the Corn Mill. I had Sea Bass and bread and butter pudding - delicious!! It's just over an hours drive from Manchester - I can't wait to go back.

Spring dressing

Love the relaxed styling of these spring outfits ... ideal for a walk in the hills or hang about town of a weekend. Really can't remember where I found them originally - sorry will add a credit if I find out!
